CHLOE Ramsden’s progression at non-for-profit training organisation Alliance Learning has been rapid since she completed an advanced apprenticeship in business administration.

She joined the company – one of the largest independent training providers in the North West – at the age of 16 in 2006 as an apprentice administrator in the engineering department.

Two years later she became assistant to the marketing co-ordinator, but within three months was promoted to the post of marketing co-ordinator.

The marketing department of the firm has now grown so much that in January this year Chloe took on her own apprentice to help with the day to day running of the section.

Chloe, now aged 24, has received numerous awards since her arrival at the organisation. They include Alliance Learning Business Administration Apprentice aged 18, and the company’s Employee of the Year a year later – the youngest person ever to receive the award.

Upon completion of her apprenticeships, Chloe attended Runshaw College in Chorley to complete her CIM Level 3 in marketing and she is now studying for her Level 4, equivalent to a foundation degree.

“I am really pleased to have been shortlisted for this latest award,” said Chloe. “Alliance Learning has invested a lot of time and money into my career development and I hope to one day progress on to marketing manager and be more involved from a strategic level.”
