| Pendle House resident Michael Hampson meets children's entertainer Diddy Mike Kerr |
A CHILDREN'S entertainer and a barbecue were among the attractions at a fundraiser in Radcliffe.
The open day at Pendle House nursing home also included a tombola, face painting, and a range of stalls.
More than 200 people attended the open day and had a look around the recently refurbished ground floor at the home in School Street.
The event raised £350 for The Good Life Orphanage in Kenya, which was set up by Bury couple Mary and Kevin Maguire.
Home administrator Karen Ballington said: "It was a great day and a brilliant success. We are over-the-moon to have raised so much money. Everyone had a really good day."
