Centre manager Marie Gribben with details of what is on at the Mill Gate

Mill Gate is pleased to inform all our visitors of the improvement works to Lower Haymarket entrance, which are scheduled to commence on Monday 1st August and last approximately five weeks. These works are aimed at significantly improving the aesthetics and lighting in this area.

On Monday 1st August we will celebrate Minden Day, commemorating the Battle of Minden that took place in 1759. A wreath will be laid at the plaque located on Minden Parade.

The new Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary store is due to open mid-August on Princess Parade. They are looking for volunteers, therefore if you are interested please contact Diane Riley at bury.shop@bleakholt.org or ring 07507774872.
