FINAL preparations are under way for bank holiday fun to raise cash for Christie Hospital.
Michael Robinson (20), of Mode Hill Lane, Whitefield, had his leg amputated after being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. To thank the young oncology unit at Christie Hospital, Michael's family are holding a fun day at Unsworth South Social Club, Derwent Avenue, from 12.30pm on Sunday.
They also need a face painter to boost the fun. Anyone interested can call 0161 766 5915.
