POPSTARS, politicians and sportsmen have all stood still in time for a new challenge taking the world by storm.

And now a Horwich estate agents is following in the frozen footsteps of Paul McCartney, Michelle Obama and Cristiano Ronaldo with its very own Mannequin Challenge video.

The internet sensation – which is not for charity, just for fun – sees people being filmed while standing completely motionless.

The craze was started by students at a Florida high school last month and is now sweeping social media.

Katy Washington, from Lancasters Estate Agents, Winter Hey Lane, decided to get involved and film her own version of the challenge.

Mrs Washington, who has run the business with husband Ben, aged 36, since May 2015, was inspired to give it a go after seeing various sportspeople’s efforts.

The mother-of-two, aged 38, said: “I know we’ve not got a very exciting activity to do but you can see what we get up to on a day-to-day basis.

“We’re always quite keen to keep up with things like this and break from the mould.”

Mr Washington can be seen grinning on the phone having just secured another sale while Rebecca Butler is busy pinning sheets to the wall and Helen Guest is about to enjoy a cup of tea.

Over in celeb-land and famous faces have been creating weird and wonderful videos.

Footballer Ronaldo donned a pair of tight white underpants for his challenge with his Portugal team-mates.

It might not have helped win her enough votes to beat Donald Trump in the US election but here is Hillary Clinton's effort, complete with Jon Bon Jovi.
