Do you think it is right that the landlord of the Duke William pub in Ainsworth has been ordered to pull down a smoking shelter which had been built without planning permission?

MP backs pension change

BOLTON North-east MP David Crausby is backing a call to restore the link between pensions and earnings.

Mr Crausby marked the centenary of the state pension by adding his signature to a House of Commons early day motion demanding the change sooner than currently planned in 2012.

Paying tribute to the pension pioneers who campaigned from 1898 until 1908 to secure the first state pension, he said: "We have done a lot for pensioners already, with free off-peak travel, the winter fuel allowance, the minimum income guarantee and help with council tax bills.

"But the basic state pension is still the key issue.

"I am urging the Government to consider restoring the link between pensions and earnings earlier than announced in order to help pensioners, particularly those entirely dependent on the basic state pension."

AND

In the rapist Thread

"A mouth swap taken after his arrest provided police with genetic evidence which linked him to the five earlier attacks."

Who did the firefighter swap his mouth with then?

I like Mr Crausby he may never be cabinet material but at least he is representative of his constituents unlike the the other useless Labour MPs in Bolton.

I'm not a Labour Man but I do respect the stance Mr Crausby often takes. He is doing exactly what he has been elected to do.

This is really rich coming from an MP who as far as pensions are concerned is waiting for the gravy train, on the platform with a first class ticket...any problems with their pension they just vote that the taxpayer, (me you and the rest of us) just top up their fund....

Just notice they never talk about their own pension arrangement, why? cause its the best, so good in fact, it is not possible for anyone other than an MP to get it...by the way, I live in Bolton West, we do not have an MP. if we do, does anyone know who its is???

~Yeah I think that Lady that sends her children to private school even though her children were going to the Best Public one in the country, Abstains from voting in parliament on religious grounds and promotes highly polluting air travel.

Oh and I forgot. Tells lies about her fighting off Fathers for Justice campaigners when the reverend present (and others) give a completely different account of events.
