ANOTHER popular eaterie is set to open its doors in the Market Place.

The redeveloped Vaults will soon welcome restaurant and bar Baltic Cellar Bar and Grill.

The restaurant boasts dishes including meats, cheeses and seasonal vegetables all sourced directly from Russia, Poland and the Baltic states and prepared traditionally.

The restaurant says on its website: “We want to bring the Baltics quite literally to your plate.”

It is believed the new premises will be “opening soon” and shoppers have been told to keep their eyes peeled on the Baltic Cellar Facebook page and @balticcellar on Twitter for the exact date.

On the menu there are authentic dishes such as Cepelinai, Goulash, Fillet Jurmala, Chicken and Pork Shashlik and more original dishes such as beef stroganoff and steaks.

There is also a range of vegetarian dishes and a wide range of meats for the grill, such as veal, lamb, pork, chicken, wild boar and venison.

The restaurant will also have a buffet type menu called ‘furshet’ and a kids' menu.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will also be served.

Located next to Prezzo, the restaurant joins an array of new food establishments that have opened in the renovated Victorian vaults.

It follows an award-winning £20m Market Place refurbishment, including the multi-screen Light Cinema.

Nandos, The Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Great Ale at the Vaults have already opened.

Pepe’s Grill was the latest to officially open its doors, earlier this month.
