CHINESE New Year has arrived early thanks to a local bakery.

Sidney Street-based Poundbakery is bringing Beijing to Bolton with their new range of oriental-inspired treats.

A £1 hoisin duck baguette and 80p Chinese chicken curry pasty have been added to their range to mark Chinese New Year, which falls this Saturday, January 28.

Marketing manager, Keely Palin, said: “We’re delighted to officially launch our Chinese New Year products here in Bolton and would love to invite everyone to pop over at lunch time to enjoy our new pasties and baguettes.

“I would urge customers to hurry over as these products are only going to be available till the end of January.”
