A BAND featuring Bolton talent are about to depart on their first tour.
Since appearing on The X Factor, Yes Lad have risen from the knock-out ranks to independent stars.
The band are now preparing to set out on their first UK headline tour this summer.
Featuring Cian Gleeson, aged 20, from Bolton, and Sonny Hardman, aged 18, from Atherton, the five-piece gathered a huge fan following when they made it to the final round of the ITV talent show last year.
Sadly, the reality television dream came to an end when they were robbed of a chance to appear in the live shows by Louis Walsh during judges’ houses.
However under the mentorship of Nigel Martin Smith – the man who helped launch Take That – they have written electro pop debut single Walk Away, produced by Sky Adams, which was released April 28 and they
have gone on to perform on Blue Peter.
The tour is due to start in Glasgow on June 26, and heads to Manchester’s Deaf Institute on July 30.
Tickets go on-sale at 9am on Friday from gigst.rs/yeslad
