SINGER-songwriter Emily Hall will launch her debut EP with a live performance at The Stage Door Bar in Manchester on Sunday (29th April).

The former member of Key 103's girlband 'The Piccadillys' is releasing six original songs in the form of her EP 'Small Doses of You'.

The songs are a collection of works spanning the last four years and include the first single to be released 'To the Moon', which is out now.

Influenced by the American pop her parents listened to when she was a child, the former St Gabriel's RC High School, was inspired from artists such as Shania Twain, Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston and The Carpenters.

She said: "I love the way their music tells a story. I'm a very visual person and I think that comes across in my writing, each of my songs is a moment I wanted to create or re-create, the lyrics were very literal when I was younger but now more metaphorical. Each word is like a part of the puzzle creating the picture."

Emily began singing from a young age, developing her writing through learning the piano and the guitar.

She has been working for the past three years at the Palace and Opera House Theatres in Manchester, as well as gigging at weddings and at venues across the UK as she pursues her musical ambitions.
