BOLTON FM listeners will be able to take a nostalgia trip of epic proportions tomorrow tonight as Kevin Gurney brings a very special Rewind Festival edition of his Clubtropicana 80s show.

Celebrating all the highlights and spectacle from last weekend’s Rewind Festival, the show will boast 15 interviews with artists and tunes to keep you dancing and reminiscing all night.

The show will include interviews and music from the festival’s Saturday headliners and Motown legends The Jacksons, and Sunday headliners and electronic figureheads Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.

There will also be interviews and classic tunes from other Rewind artists including Billy Ocean, Midge Ure, Soul II Soul, Heaven 17, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, Leo Sayer, Captain Sensible, Doctor and the Medics, Tiffany, The Fizz, Musical Youth, Leee John of Imagination and Roachford.

Taking place at Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire from August 3 to 5 Rewind Festival is a three day party showcasing some of the biggest and best names from the 80s, and this year celebrated its 10th birthday.

Gracing the lakeside lawns at this year’s festival was an all-star line up including The Boomtown Rats and Marc Almond, as well as and stellar entertainment and comedy from names including Milton Jones and Mrs Barbara Nice.

The Cheshire event also runs concurrently with two sister Rewind Festivals in Perth, Scotland and Temple Island Meadows, Henley-on-Thames.
