ON the subject of potholes.
Why keep blaming the council?
Motorists pay, or should pay, road tax to the government, it is its responsible surely and not put up my council tax. The government should not be saying they are making ring roads at the other end of the country which I am not likely to use.
It is the state of the roads around Bury. They are a danger to motorcyclists, cyclists and not forgetting the mounting costs of replacements shock absorbers and tyres for our vehicles.
This is negligence on the government's part, not councils. Or should motorists pay their road tax to the councils which they pay their council tax to?
