AN open letter of thanks to the Muslims of Bury.
I was desperate, frantic.
I had lost my car keys while in the cemetery attending to our family graves.
In my frenzied search, I attracted the attention of a small group of Muslim gentlemen who asked me what the problem was.
When I explained that I had lost my car keys and, that my mobile phone was in the car, so I couldn’t contact my family for assistance, these Muslim gentlemen immediately organised themselves to help me.
They took me to my friend’s house in their car and made sure I was okay.
On arriving back at the cemetery, they were there waiting for me.
Again, the search began, only for one of them to find my keys very quickly.
I cannot thank them enough.
A Elliott
