I AM writing in respect of your item on John Beaumont, Scottish minister.
Until year ago, I lived and was brought up in Ramsbottom.
My mother died nine years ago and I was put in touch with him through the undertaker.
Are these people not subject to checks like nurses, carers, etc?
I am totally shocked that someone like him was walking the streets given his criminal record in Scotland.
I would not let him near my mother or my family had I known, or let him conduct my mother's funeral.
I am sure there are many more like me.
It has sickened me to the core.
