WE took two of our grandchildren to the park last week and while they were on the apparatus, I went round picking up all the empty bags, chocolate wrappers, etc, and put them in the bins provided.
We went off for some lunch and when we came back an hour later, it was just as bad, so I went round again picking up.
There were plenty of parents in the park with their children stepping over all the rubbish and just ignoring it.
Surely they would prefer to see a nice tidy, safe park for their children.
Do these children drop everything on the floor at home for other people to pick up?
