A CONVICTED burglar, who went on the run after breaching his parole conditions, is back behind bars.
Bury born Stephen Ryan failed to appear at his assigned residence in Withington after being released from prison on March 7. He was jailed in September 2006 in connection with a number of burglaries.
A two-month long police manhunt to find the 27-year-old ended last night when he was arrested at a house in the Bury area and returned to prison to serve the remainder of his sentence.
