A TEENAGE girl had to be rescued by firefighters after getting herself jammed in a child's swing at a Radcliffe park.
The embarrassed 14-year-old had climbed into the caged chair - which is normally used to prevent toddlers falling out of the seat - but she was unable to free herself when her thighs became stuck in the gaps.
Firefighters from Whitefield were called to the park area off Lord Street at 8.30pm last night. Officers simply lifted the girl from the chair.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "The girl was very embarrassed. I don't think she will use a child's swing again."
