Company reunion date change

THERE has been a change of dates for the scheduled 11th annual reunion of ex-employees of Bury firm Bibby and Baron.
The event will now take place on Friday, May 23 and not the previous day as originally planned. The reunion is for office staff who worked at the company between 1950 and 1970.
It is being held from 3pm onwards at the Bury home of organiser Betty Hardman.
Bibby and Baron, paper bag manufacturers, had a base in Dumers Lane, Bury, for 132 years before shutting in 2000.
Anyone who has not attended the event before can ring Betty on 797 8745.
