Funeral of head injuries woman, 43

A FUNERAL will be held on Monday for a woman who died after being found with serious head injuries.

Aileen Dunne, aged 43, was taken to hospital after being discovered outside her home in Broad Oak Lane, Fairfield, at 2am on Thursday, October 25.

She died two days later, leaving many relatives, including her two children and grandson.

A file has been passed to the coroner and an inquest was opened and adjourned last Thursday.

A funeral will be held at 9.30am at St Joseph’s RC Church, in Peter Street, Bury, followed by interment at Bury Cemetery.

Only family flowers are requested, though donations can be made to Bury Hospice in her memory.
