Second armed robbery at post office

POLICE are investigating reports of an armed robbery at Brandlesholme Road Post Office in Bury.

They were called at around 4pm and are now at the scene investigating what has happened.

The branch was also targeted by armed robbers in September, when the postmaster had a silver handgun pointed at his head.

Poor fella. Leave this hardworking man alone and get a job where you do not need to steal and leave people fearing for their lives.

Unfortunately surely it's time to shut this Post Office now before someone gets hurt. It's location makes it a easy target.

No doubt the post office service will be missed by some but better that than someone getting killed.
