BURY actress Lisa Riley will hot-foot it to the Wembley Arena this weekend as she and fellow celebrities battle it out in the latest “Strictly Come Dancing” heat.

Sir Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly will welcome BBC TV viewers to Saturday’s live spectacular when the nine remaining couples take to the stage in front of 6,000 people.

Still on her feet and winning the plaudits is ex-St Gabriel’s High School pupil Lisa and dancing partner Robin Windsor. Lisa topped the leaderboard in the opening show and her effervescence and cheery demeanour, allied to her dancing skills, has made her a highly popular contestant with viewers and the judges.

In a video message on the Strictly website, the former Emmerdale star says: “Thanks ever so much for supporting team Ri-Ro. We hope very much you are enjoying what you are seeing.”
