Rock builds on its success
TWO new stores are set to open their doors at Bury’s Rock development.
Self-appointed cosmetics grocer, Lush, has moved from Bolton to Bury and is staging a celebratory opening party at its new base tomorrow from 11pm to 6pm.
There will be complementary skin and hair consultations, live entertainment as well as celebratory glasses of champagne and fresh fruit. Staff will also offer visitors hand and arm massages.
Meanwhile, eight new jobs have been created by UK shoe manufacturer, Hotter, at its new store at the Rock which will open on Saturday The opening is part of a dynamic expansion programme for the shoe retailer which has seen it open an average of one store per month since February, 2010.
Bury is the 55th Hotter store, with a further nine stores to be opened in the remaining months of 2013.
Hotter offers a full shoe fitting service and a collection of British designed footwear. Bucking economic trends, the retailer has expanded rapidly over recent years selling shoes direct to its customers from its Lancashire call centre, its retail stores and online.
Store manager Ann McCafferty said: “I am proud to say that the team we have found in Bury are both enthusiastic and dedicated.
“We are looking forward to giving our customers a warm welcome and a level of service which will really make us stand out.”
