A CYCLIST was injured in a hit-and-run in Bury street.
The incident happened at about 9.15am on Thursday, when the 65-year-old cyclist was biking along Bolton Road.
The van driver hit him near the junction of Haig Road, leaving him needing to go to hospital with back injuries.
He is said to be in a stable condition.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or the driver of the transit van to come forward.
