A MOTORIST suffered leg injuries after a car thought to have been stolen in Radcliffe crashed in Heywood Street, Bury.
The woman was driving a Vauxhall Corsa when an Audi Quattro car - believed to be stolen - smashed into it at the junction of Cook Street at 3.40pm yesterday.
The woman was taken to Fairfield Hospital but is not thought to have been seriously injured.
Police closed the road for an hour while they investigated the incident.
Both cars were written off.
Police believe the Audi may have been stolen during the burglary of a house in Radcliffe a few minutes earlier.
Witnesses and anyone with information are asked to call police on 101.
