A YOUNG boy was left devastated when his favourite soft toy went missing on a train to Bury.
Three-year-old Adam Nixon, of Rawtenstall, was travelling from Ramsbottom on The East Lancashire Railway, when he lost his teddy, a monkey named ‘EE’, after the noise the animal makes.
Adam was travelling with his father Gary on Saturday at about noon.
His mother Julie said: “Adam’s had EE since he was a baby. He’s really upset. People have been really helpful in trying to find him. I can’t thank them enough.”
A picture of the lost cuddly toy was even tweeted by Ramsbottom Station.
