SEVEN people have been charged following drugs raids on several addresses in Bury.

Police carried out the raids on Friday in a crackdown on drug dealing in the town.

Tayub Husnain, aged 30, of Heywood Street, Kasim Ahmed, aged 19, of Wolstenholme Avenue, Nicholas Lamb, aged 45, of Parkside Walk, Andrew Barlow, aged 38, of Moss Row, Victoria Holland, aged 30, of Seddon Ave, Annalise Kiely, aged 18, of Higher Dean Street, and a 17-year-old girl who cannot be named for legal reasons, were arrested and charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

All seven appeared before Bury Magistrates Court on Tuesday. Husnain, Ahmed and Barlow were remanded in custody, while Lamb, Holland and Kiely were bailed.

They will appear at Bolton Crown Court on July 29.
