HAIRDRESSING students at Bury College have made their mark in two competitions.
Erin Burleigh, aged 18, is one of 20 hopefuls to make it to the regional finals of the WorldSkills competition.
Erin, from Rochdale, said: “Taking part in competitions means that my confidence and timings improve.”
In addition, Kishan Waland, aged 17, finished in third place in the first Greater Manchester Colleges Group hairdressing and beauty competition Kishan, from Bolton, is currently working towards a diploma in barbering at the college.
