A MAN has been charged after an Oasis canvas painting was stolen from a gallery in Bury.
Martin Connor, of Edgar Street in Ramsbottom, was charged with burglary and has been remanded into custody.
The 50-year-old appeared before Bury Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday).
The black and white canvas painting by artist Olga Tsarevska Lomax, was stolen from an Art Gallery and Gift Shop in Bolton Street on Monday, October 27.
The painting was recovered by police and has been returned to the gallery.
