A 24 HOUR strike called by firefighters saw stand-in crews being called out to four incidents across Bury.
The industrial action, which ran from 7am yesterday to 7am this morning, saw Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue call on trained stand-in emergency fire crews to man stations during the industrial action.
Crews were called out to a report of a baby being locked in a car at about 3.10pm on February 25 on Ripon Close, in Radcliffe, with specialist equipment being used to free the child.
They were also called out to three automatic fire alarms.
The strike was the latest to be called by the Fire Brigades Union, in a long running dispute with the Government over pensions.
