Driver escapes unharmed after forklift truck sets on fire
A FORKLIFT truck driver was forced to jump from the vehicle after it set on fire.
The fire was put out by staff at Lancashire PVC-u Trade Frames on Woodhill Road, Bury, using a fire extinguisher after the driver had jumped out at around 8.50am this morning.
A crew from Bury Fire Station attended to make sure everything was safe and disconnected the battery on the forklift truck.
