TOPSHOP in Bury was evacuated this afternoon after a smell of electrical burning filled the store.
Firefighters were called to The Rock at 4.45pm, evacuating around 30 shoppers and members of staff from the shop.
It is believed the smell was caused by an electrical fault and firefighters climbed into the roof in order to disabled the transformers.
But as they struggled to locate the exact source of the smell, they advised shop staff to call out an emergency electrician to deal with the fault.
