PHOTOGRAPHER Mike Bisson had to be a little sheepish to find the right entry for a national photographic competition.
He focused on a field in Edenfield, spending two hours patiently waiting to capture an adorable snap of a sheep and her lamb.
The 37-year-old, from Rochdale, has been featured as one of the top entrants in National Accident Helpline's #FreshStartPhotos competition.
Mike, whose photo is titled Mirroring Mum, said: "It was taken on an early morning trip to a farm in Edenfield.
“It took two hours to compose the image, concealed behind a dry stone wall, so that the ewe and her lamb started to ignore me.
“It is the lamb mirroring its mum that captures the image of a fresh start.”
The deadline for the #FreshStartPhotos competition is tomorrow, and details are available here.
