THE inaugural Made in Bury Business Fair was so successful that plans are already being made to stage the event next year.
Almost 1,000 delegates and 120 exhibitors took part in the fair, the biggest business exhibition to take place in the borough, and attracted companies from across Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
The exhibition, held at Castle Armoury, was open to companies from all sectors, sponsored by Bury Council, Bury BusinessLodge and thebestofbury. It was home to a business support centre, a vibrant networking lounge and three-walled, shell scheme booths for exhibitors.
The day also saw four seminars take place, one by headline speaker Nigel Botterill, self-made millionaire and entrepreneur.
Due to its positive feedback, a number of booths have already been secured for next year’s event.
