YOUNGSTERS at an Ainsworth school brought some colour to their fundraising venture when they held their own Race for Life.
Almost 300 pupils at Christ Church Ainsworth Primary donned pink and red clothing to take part in the run, which has already raised more than £500 for Cancer Research, with donations still coming in.
The event was organised by the school's charity group, the Our World Club, which is run by pupils from years four, five, and six.
Teaching assistant Cath Comac said: "We have had a really positive response from children and parents to the Race for Life. Everyone had a great time on Friday and the amount of money we've raised already is fantastic."
