TEENAGER Nicole Womack has triumphed in the junior competition staged at Bury's Pike Fold Golf Club.
The 13-year-old, a pupil at Broad Oak Sports College, has played the sport for five years, and clinched the singles knockout title after playing several rounds and overcoming finalist Matt Cuppello in tightly-fought game.
As well as being a member of Pike Fold, Nicole also plays in the silver division of the Lancashire Under 14s.
She is described by her proud father Tony as "golf mad" but also enjoys running and hockey.
