A RADCLIFFE woman has been cleared of attacking a police officer — but did obstruct the officer.
Sharon Harrison, aged 35, of Hawthorn Avenue, was accused of assaulting PC Kerry in Bury on June 20 but denied the offence to Bury magistrates on August 21.
At a further hearing on November 18, Harrison was found not guilty after a trial though she admitted obstructing the officer and was given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £270 court costs.
