A MAN has been charged after a 46-year-old was hospitalised following an assault behind a pub in Ramsbottom.
Ian Kennedy was attacked in an alley to the rear of the Mason Arms Pub on Bolton Road West at around 6.15pm on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
The victim, 46-year-old Ian Kennedy, was punched, causing him to fall back and hit his head on the floor.
Following the assault, police released an image of Mr Kennedy lying unconscious in Salford Royal Hospital.
This week, police charged Kieran Warrington, 25, of Fir Street, Ramsbottom, with section 20 assault.
He is due before Bury Magistrates on January 27, 2016.
