The woman who was found dead at her home in Whitefield has been named.
Leanne Wall, aged 36, was found by police at her home in Conway Avenue shortly before 7.50am on Friday following reports of a concern for welfare.
Paying tribute to her, Leanne’s family said she was a “loving mother, daughter and sister and a great friend to so many.
“Leanne was fun loving and hardworking, she had a big heart and will be forever missed.”
The family would like to thank everybody for their kind words and tributes and would now like some time to grieve in private.
Following a short search of the nearby area, a 39-year-old man was arrested on the hard shoulder of the M60 motorway on suspicion of murder.
William Mack, aged 39 of no fixed abode, has been charged with murder.
