NEIL Bebbington’s first match in charge of Stoneclough's reserves ended in an emphatic 6-1 victory.
The local lad, who left his role as player/manager at Eagley earlier in the season to join Stoneclough as a player, has taken over the managerial reins at Brook Street Playing Fields.
Bebbington is now aiming to salvage the reserves disappointing campaign having started in style with the weekend’s victory over Wyre Villa.
A Stoneclough local for 32 years, Neil has been appointed until the end of the season having had a previous coaching role at Bolton Wanderers.
