PUPILS from St Luke's enjoyed a Royal celebration for the Queen's 90th birthday.
Parents, grandparents and friends joined in with the festivities tucking in to an afternoon tea feast of sandwiches and cakes.
Many of the children sported impressive crowns and the year five's kept the guests entertained with country dancing.
Her Majesty's birthday was April 21 and headteacher Melanie Michael said it was a great opportunity for the community to come together.
She said: "It was a quintessentially British celebration which was enjoyed by all."
A parent added: "It's been great to take part in the Queen's 90th birthday celebrations as even though we may have different religions and cultures, we all share this great English culture in this Great Britain."
