SUMMERSEAT Methodist Primary School have been celebrating after they were recognised for their exceptional performance.
The school has come out in the top 10% of schools nationally for children's attainment in reading, writing and maths.
The Educational Outcomes data analysis by the Schools, Students and Teachers network was welcomed by the school.
Sue Williamson, chief executive of SSAT said: "It's my great pleasure to commend Summerseat on their excellent 2015 performance.
"I have the privilege of visiting a lot of schools and I am always impressed by the creativity of teachers in engaging and inspiring their students.
"I hope that SSAT's Educational Outcomes award will highlight the professionalism, commitment and hard work of the leaders, teachers and students at Summerseat Methodist primary School."
The school has also been celebrating after they received a new sponsor for their football kit.
MPSL, an architectural design practice, have sponsored a full squad new kit.
Managing director, David Golden, was very eager to support grass roots football so wanted to get involved with the school.
Headteacher, Steven Ollis, said: "The children and staff at Summerseat would like to thanks David for his kind contribution, he will pleased to know that on their first game wearing the kit Summerseat won 3- 1! We hope it brings further success."
