SERVICE at a fast food outlet wasn’t fast enough for a drunken customer.
Magistrates heard how Benjamin Jay Tebay became frustrated and punched a serving hatch window and broke it.
And his frustration continued when he assaulted a police officer by kicking him in the groin.
Tebay, aged 27, of Seddon Lane, Radcliffe, pleaded guilty to criminal damage to a window at McDonald's on the Junction 4 service station in Blackburn and assaulting a police officer.
He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £100 compensation to McDonald's, £50 to the police officer, £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge, at Blackburn Magistrates' Court.
Gareth Price, defending, said on the day of the incident his client’s four year relationship with his girlfriend had ended and he had started drinking.
