MUSIC fans have just three weeks to wait until Ramsbottom Festival opens its gates for another year.

The festival will run from Friday, September 16 until Sunday, September 18 at Ramsbottom Cricket Club.

This year’s line-up is bigger and more diverse than ever with 80 live bands playing across four stages over the weekend.

The latest additions to the line-up include the return of Bolton rockers The Jade Assembly and blues man Rik Warren.

They will be joined by hip-hop up-and-comer Burgundy Blood and rock’n’roll Manchester quartet Sittin’ Pretty.

Also joining the line-up is singer songwriter Liam McClair and Jordan Allen.

Scottish rockers We Came From Wolves will be taking to the stage on Saturday 17.

They said: “We are looking forward to a great vibe, people having fun, checking out some awesome bands and having a few cold beers with the people of Rammy.”

For people wanting to learn the words to their songs before the festival they have made their album available to download from wecamefromwolves.bandcamp.com.

Also performing on the Saturday are two-tone legends The Selecter, Sam Duckworth, formerly of Get Cape Wear Cape Fly brings new project Recreations and Manchester five-piece The Travelling Band alongside festival favourites Harp and a Monkey and, of course Saturday headliner Gaz Coombes.

Programmes can be purchased from the festival website and will be posted out one week before.

Prices start from £28 for a day or £75 for a full weekend.
