POLICE are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a Whitefield man.

Michael Paul Jackson, aged 34, was last seen at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, November 23 at his home in Sunnybank.

He is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall, of slim build with shaven, mousey hair and a short stubble-like beard.

It is believed he is wearing black work trousers, a green t-shirt with white and blue squares bearing the logo “Prime Documents”, a black fleece with the same logo and carrying a small, blue rucksack.

Michael may be in the central Oldham or Didsbury area.

Sergeant Richard Garland from GMP’s Bury Borough, said "It has been two weeks now since Michael has last been seen.

"He left his house stating that he was going to get some food but has not been seen since.

"He has been known to visit libraries in the past but it is unusual for him to be missing for this length of time.

“I’m urging anyone who has seen Michael or knows where he is, to get in touch by calling 101 immediately.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
