Bell Lane in Bury has been closed between the Huntley Mount Road junction and the Willow Street junction after a crash between a car and a cyclist
A CYCLIST has been rushed to hospital after he was involved in a crash in Bury.
Police were called to the crash in Bell Lane at 6.19am this morning, Wednesday January 11, between a Fiat Punto and the male cyclist.
Ambulance staff were called to the scene and the cyclist was taken to hospital with a head injury.
It is not yet known how serious the injury is.
Bell Lane remains closed and there is heavy traffic in the area, between the Huntley Mount Road junction and the Willow Street junction.
A diversion is in operation via Deal Street.
