STAND-up comedian and actor, Eddie Izzard, joined candidates on the campaign trail in Bury North this afternoon.
The star took a tour around The Rock during a walkabout through the town centre, meeting members and taking selfies.
Mr Izzard, who has appeared films including Oceans Twelve and My Super Ex-Girlfriend, was supporting Labour candidate for Bury North, James Frith.
Mr Frith will contest the seat on June 8 against Richard Baum, Liberal Democrats and David Nuttall, Conservatives.

Mr Izzard and Mr Frith were joined by Labour supporters at Freedom Church, Walmersly Road where both spoke briefly to the audience before heading to The Rock.
Mr Izzard, who said he volunteers his time for the Labour Party, said: "Theresa May has been a bit all over the place, it's a terrible campaign for the Conservatives."
Mr Izzard said Mr Frith is the 'better candidate' for Bury North and said he 'he cares about people in the local area'. He said the Conservatives only care about themselves.
Mr Frith accused his opponent Mr Nuttall of being an 'invisible' MP and said the Conservative did not 'deserve a third term'.
He drew parallels between Mr Nuttall and the live election debate last night.
Mr Frith said: "We have an MP who doesn't turn up and a PM who doesn't turn up.
"We deserve better in Bury."
A debate will be held this evening in Bury Town Hall's Elizabethan Suite between David Nuttall, James Frith and leader of the Liberal Democrats on Bury Council, Cllr Tim Pickstone.
It will be broadcast live on BBC Radio Manchester from 7pm.
