A POPULAR Italian restaurant in Unsworth is giving over one of its regular tribute nights to pop sensation, Ariana Grande.

Capannina holds tribute nights on the last Tuesday of every month, July's will feature Melissa T as Almost Ariana and fundraising proceeds will go to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

The event has been organised by the Bacci family, who own and run the restaurant in Sunny Bank Road, Unsworth.

Daniel Bacci said: "Members of the family were at the arena the night of the atrocity.

"After finding out an Ariana Grande tribute was available we thought it was a great way to raise money to help those affected.

"Everybody has been really supportive and we have had a great response!"

Raffle tickets are being sold from the restaurant for the draw on the night for some great prizes.

So far, a signed Michael Carrick Manchester United shirt and signed boxing gloves from Anthony Joshua have been donated as prizes.

Capannina has put together some prize hampers and Star Wars helmet speakers can also be won.

The raffle will be drawn on the night of the event, July 25.

Staff are hoping to raise around £2,000 for the emergency fund, which was set up by the Red Cross and Manchester City Council and have already raised £500.
