A TEENAGER from Bury has been given just days to live and is urgently looking for donations to allow him to undergo potentially life-saving treatment in Germany.

Connah Haslam, aged 19, has been battling the rare Ewing's Sarcoma cancer for five years and his family are now desperately trying to raise £200,000.

He is seriously ill and needs the money for treatment in Germany that could save his life.

The NHS have told the family that there is nothing more they can do for Connah, so they have started urgently trying to raise the funds.

They are currently travelling to Germany as 'Connah couldn't wait any longer' and have already raised almost £75,000 through a JustGiving page.

His mum, Kelly, said: "We are transferring Connah to a specialist treatment centre in Germany. We need to raise £200,000 to save my boy.

"Family and friends are doing everything we can to save our beautiful boy please, please support us - he's a special young boy and deserves a fighting chance please help us save his life.”

The fundraiser was only started two days ago and donations have flooded in for more than 4,000 people.

Mrs Haslam thanked everyone who has donated so far.

She said: "Thank you so much for the donations so far it has been absolutely overwhelming. We have set off to Germany. As Connah couldn't wait any longer we will get him as much treatment as possible with your amazing donations. Words can't express our thanks.”

Connah posted an emotional video appeal on his Facebook page asking for help in which he says: "I need the money by Monday or I will be dead."
