CHOCOHOLICS got a treat when a sugary specialist stopped by.

Andy Lloyd from Island Truffles and Treats stopped by a retirement home in Prestwich to showcase not just his chocolate talents but also his vocal talents.

The residents and families of McCarthy and Stone's Broadfield Court were able to enjoy the chocolate creations of Mr Lloyd.

Afterwards he treated the guests and residents at the Prestwich retirement home to the sounds of Elvis, Cliff Richard and Neil Diamond with a rock 'n' roll tribute as they indulged in afternoon tea.

Fiona Brooks, regional sales and marketing director at McCarthy and Stone, commented: “It seems there are a lot of chocoholics in Prestwich and many joined us for our wonderful chocolate making and tasting event!

"With the festive season now upon us, everyone enjoyed a treat-laden afternoon, and they also took away plenty of ideas and inspiration for Christmas gifts.

"The event also proved to be a great opportunity for homeowners to get together; and local retirees who are potentially interested in purchasing at Broadfield Court were able to get involved in just one of the many exciting and interesting activities that take place at the development."

Residents at the Park View Road development got the chance to get involved with the demonstration and taste their treats.
