TWO more men have been charged with attempted murder after a man was shot in Prestwich.
Dominic Burke, aged 20, of Whinfell Drive in Middleton and Waseem Ahmed, aged 29 of Crumpsall Avenue in Manchester have been charged and are due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court today.
The charges relate to an incident on Monday, November 27 where police were called to reports that a man had been shot at a house in Glebelands Road, Prestwich.
Officers attended and a 49-year-old man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Steven O'Donnell, aged 24, of Carr Avenue in Prestwich, appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court yesterday, charged with attempted murder, where he was remanded in custody.
Two other men who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm have been released under investigation.
